A fun, timed shooting match that involves 3 firing stages of steel, paper, and moving targets. Shooting distances are from 3 feet to 20 yards. Matches are held on the first Sunday from May to October starting at 9a.m. Fee is $5.00 per gun fired. Participants may shoot pistols, carbines, and rifles of calibers such as .22, 38, 9mm, 40, etc. Range rules forbid using any ammunition whose velocity is equal to or exceeds 1500fps. Range safety officers are positioned at each shooting stage to aide shooters of all skill levels. Bring plenty of ammo!

Our  Match is a USPSA Level 1 match held the fourth Saturday of the month.  Sign up is available on PractiScore. Safety briefing 9:30am

Penalties will be called according to the latest USPSA Rule Book. As of this writing that's the 2026 version. Hearing protection and safety glasses with side shields or wrap around design required.
Starts promptly at 10AM, match is weather dependent. If there is a weather cancellation, you will be notified by e-mail no later than 7:00 PM the day before the match. This will allow us to check the hourly forecast out until noon the day of the match.

Great winter time practice with your 22lr rifle.  Most any rifle will work fine.  Bring your scoped or iron sighted 22lr out and shoot with us this winter.

Scoped rifles should weigh less than 7.5 lbs.  Most sporter type rifles will make weight no problems.  Your squirrel rifle/ plinker will do fine. No weight limit on Iron Sighted rifles.

Course of fire is 3 targets with 10 rounds on each target.  There's a 10 minutes time period to shoot each target. We normally take a 10-minute break between targets for a total of 30 rounds.  Cost is $3 for your 1st rifle, scope or Iron.$2 for your 2nd rifle. ie. If you want to shoot both a scoped and an iron sight rifle =  $5.00.

The first week you shoot there is also a $2  NY state sporterifle fee, one time only 

We shoot as a group on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. non-club members are welcome to shoot so bring your friends along. You may also shoot anytime during the week and leave your targets and fee in the center drawer of the 1st desk in the club room.  Targets are in the same desk, top left drawer.  Make sure and write your name and scope or iron on the target.  Targets have to be in the drawer by Friday at 5 p.m.   Please use these targets for your match score only , they're not for practice.  If you want targets I have some for sale.  Like everything, they've gone up considerably. With the shipping they come to 20 cents each.

This is a mix of IDPA and USPSA targets with points down scoring and relaxed rules on cover, concealment, reloads, target engagement order. No compromises on safety! The WRPC Steel Challenge Match is designed to introduce participants to the fun and excitement of competition shooting in a safe, low pressure, family friendly atmosphere.

Steel Plate events are USPSA Steel Challenge-style matches designed to be completed by shooters of all levels without the need to reload “on the clock” (usually). The main goal is to hit all the steel targets in the course of fire as quickly as possible.

Steel Plate events follow USPSA Steel Challenge rules. It is the responsibility of all participants, volunteers or spectators to be familiar with the rules and especially understand those which are safety oriented.

All Firearms are to safely use .22 long rifle ammunition or centerfire pistol ammunition.

“CENTERFIRE PISTOL AMMUNITION” DOES NOT INCLUDE .223

Carbines/rifles and .22 handguns start at low ready position.

Centerfire handguns are drawn from the holster.

All Participants and Spectators Must Wear Eye and Ear protection.

$20 entrance fee for matches. You may shoot multiple guns. Frequently you will find shooters using both a .22 handgun and carbine or a 9mm handgun and carbine. But people mix it up, too, and smile while doing it!

A normal Stage will have 5 targets. Each Stage has 5 Strings of fire. In a perfect world, you’d need 125 rounds to complete 5 stages of 5 strings of fire. Perfection eludes most of us so bring extra ammo! 

You will need at least 5 magazines for your firearm (or 5 speedloaders for wheel guns) to keep things running smoothly. Once you are on the firing line, no refilling of magazines is permitted. You will come to the line ready to fire those 5 strings of fire.

Held every other Wednesday at the pistol range 4pm, weather permitting. Shooters will be able to practice on a stage or drill featuring multiple targets and barriers. All are welcome and bring plenty of ammo! Contact Mike Nash to be added to the message list.

 Silhouette shooting is a competitive sport where participants use rifles or handguns to knock down heavy steel animal-shaped targets. Competitors shoot offhand from a standing position at chickens, pigs, turkeys, and rams placed at specific ranges. The goal is to knock the target off its stand to score a point.

Targets are set at 40 (chicken), 60 (pig), 77 (turkey), and 100 (ram) yards. Matches typically consist of 40 shots—10 for each animal, cost is $5 per run and as all of our events, it is open to the public.

Held at the rifle range 100yd, 30 round. .22 rimfire rifle match. May be shot bench rest or prone,  participants use specialized targets reduced in size to simulate 800, 900, and 1,000 yards. Will be first come first serve, we. A minimum of 2 relays, possibly 3 if needed. 8 benches available per relay. 

 Open for centerfire as well as rimfire.

Military Rifle and Handgun Fun Shoot

Suitable arms include pre- 1950 military issue

There will be a variety of shooting events loosely

organized into friendly competition. There is a

shoot fee of $10 which includes lunch. The

object is to use and enjoy classic military arms.

are shocking, so we have adapted

many of our events to allow the use of

.22 rimfire ammo. Don’t have a .22 rimfire military trainer? No problem. Just bring

some .22 rimfire ammo. We have plenty of loaner rifles on hand (some superbly

accurate M44 US .22 trainers).

Hearing and eye protection are mandatory. Only bring firearms you know to be

in safe operating condition. There will not be time to sight-in, so please do so

beforehand.

Bullseye Pistol

 NRA Precision Pistol is the granddad of handgun competition. It requires good eyes and a steady hand to hit a 10 ring the size of a nickel at 50 feet using a one hand hold.

 Our league is more informal. We allow one or two-handed hold. Any type of sights allowed except for laser sights. You also don’t need an expensive target pistol. Any standard .22 pistol should be fine. 

 We start at 6:30pm with .22LR then move on to centerfire. The course of fire for .22 is:

2 Slow Fire targets. 10 shots in 10 minutes.

2 Timed Fire targets. 20 seconds for a 5 shot string. 2 strings per target.

2 Rapid Fire targets. 10 seconds for a 5 shot string. 2 strings per target.

(For those of you that got the Common Core math class in school that is 60 shots total.)

 For center fire we will shoot:

1 Slow Fire target. 10 shots in 10 minutes.

2 Timed Fire targets. 20 seconds for a 5 shot string. 2 strings per target. (This allows the use of a revolver)

 Precision shooting for the beginner to the expert. 

Dust off that old .22 plinker and give it a try.

The Bullseye league will start matches in October on Thursday nights at 6:30pm.
